If you have a USB stick: most newer computers can boot from USB. Do you see a welcome screen prompts you to select your language and allows you to install Ubuntu or try the CD.<br /><br />If your computer does not automatically do so, you may need to edit the BIOS settings. Restart the computer and look for a message that the key to the BIOS setup. There is usually one of F1, F2, are DEL, ESC or F10. Hold this button while editing your computer's BIOS boot settings.<br /><br />You need to edit the boot order. Depending on your computer, and how your USB stick is formatted, you need an entry for "Removable Disk" or see "USB media." Move those forces to the top of the list on the computer to try booting from USB before booting from the hard disk. Save your changes and continue.<br /><br />3. Select your preferred language and click "Try Ubuntu 10.10"<br />4. Do you want a live CD desktop. Take a look!<br />5.
